Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of Scout, operated by METADOTS (PRIVATE) LIMITED (“we”, “us”, “our”). By creating an account or using Scout, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

Questions? Email sales@metadots.co.

1. What Scout is

Scout is an AI-powered business operations audit service. After you complete a structured onboarding and interview process — and invite your team members to do the same — Scout produces a personalised report that includes workflow diagrams, automation recommendations, ROI projections, a risk register, and a 90-day implementation roadmap.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old and have authority to enter into these Terms on behalf of yourself or the business you represent. By using Scout, you confirm this.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your account credentials secure. You must not share your login with others or allow unauthorised access to your account. Notify us immediately at sales@metadots.co if you suspect unauthorised use.

You may only create one account per business. We reserve the right to suspend accounts that appear to be duplicated or used abusively.

4. Payment

Access to the full Scout audit and report requires a one-time payment. The price is displayed at checkout. All prices are in USD unless stated otherwise.

Payment is processed at the checkout step. Your audit is unlocked immediately upon successful payment confirmation.

Refunds. Refund requests must be submitted within 14 days of purchase. All refunds are handled by Paddle in accordance with their Refund Policy.

5. Providing accurate information

The quality of your audit report depends entirely on the accuracy of the information you and your team provide. You agree to provide truthful and complete responses during the onboarding and interview process. We are not responsible for inaccurate or misleading outputs that result from inaccurate inputs.

6. Team members

When you invite team members to participate in your audit, you confirm that you have their consent to share their email address with Scout and to have them participate in the interview process. You are responsible for informing them that their responses will be processed by AI and used to generate your business report.

7. AI-generated content and limitations

Scout uses large language models (including OpenAI) to analyse your business information and generate report content. By using Scout, you acknowledge:

  • AI outputs are analytical recommendations, not professional business, legal, financial, or accounting advice.
  • AI models can make errors, miss context, or produce outputs that do not apply to your specific situation. Always apply your own judgement before acting on recommendations.
  • We do not guarantee specific ROI figures, timelines, or business outcomes. Projections in your report are estimates based on the information you provided.

We are not liable for business decisions made based on Scout’s report.

8. Intellectual property

Your data. You retain ownership of all information you provide to Scout, including your business descriptions, interview responses, and operational data.

Your report. Once generated, your audit report belongs to you. You may use it internally, share it with employees, investors, or advisors, and adapt it for your own purposes.

Scout platform. The Scout application, its design, underlying code, and AI prompts are owned by Metadots. You may not copy, resell, or reverse-engineer any part of the platform.

9. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

  • Use Scout to process data about third parties without their consent
  • Attempt to reverse-engineer, scrape, or abuse the platform’s APIs
  • Submit false business information for the purpose of testing or gaming the system
  • Use Scout in any way that violates applicable law

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms without refund.

10. Availability and changes

We aim to keep Scout available and operational. However, we do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may perform maintenance, release updates, or temporarily take the service offline without notice.

We may change, improve, or discontinue features over time. Where a feature you paid for is removed before you have accessed it, we will contact you to discuss a remedy.

11. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Metadots’s total liability to you for any claim arising out of or relating to Scout shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

We are not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages, including lost profits or business opportunities, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

12. Governing law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law. Any disputes shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation first. If unresolved, disputes shall be submitted to the courts of the jurisdiction in which Metadots is registered.

13. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If we make material changes, we will notify you by email or by a notice on the platform at least 14 days before the changes take effect. Continued use of Scout after that date constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
